Initiatives for Inclusion Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (“NGO”) registered as a Public Charitable Trust in New Delhi. It is a non-profit extension of Ungender Advisory, and is a product of over 16 years of combined experience of its founders in legal education and practice, legal aid, business management consulting, social entrepreneurship, impact projects and volunteer engagement.
IIF is working with private, government sector organizations, government bodies, police departments for creating awareness as well as ensuring effective implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 [POSH Act, 2013].
IIF aims to build an inclusive society for all where the stakeholders, be it an individual or the larger group, are aware of and have access to their fundamental rights of justice, equality and dignity thereby allowing them the freedom to make choices and decisions without any form of discrimination.
This vision will be achieved through parallel initiative pillars of non-discriminatory access to education (formal, informal, vocational, skill development) towards financial stability and self-sustenance; social leaders’ cultivation from the existing minority population; and creating on- ground mechanisms for ease of access to justice for individual empowerment to fight their violation of rights.
We are coming up with a new website to showcase our work through the years. In the meantime, if you want to get in touch with the IIF Team, do reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
