Health and Safety at work

In light of the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across various parts of the world, there is an urgent need to track the spread of the virus and take necessary precautions. It is the need of the hour to monitor, prevent and manage all suspected and confirmed cases in the workplace, both prudently and sensitively.

Ungender is taking all possible steps to help minimise the chances of spread of the coronavirus and ensure the safety of our clients, partners, and employees.

As a team we already work remotely but in the wake of COVID-19, here’s a quick update on some of the steps we’ve taken to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all:

  1. Checking travel plans of people asking to set up a meeting with us.
  2. Opting for POSH training sessions via video calls.
  3. Advising our members to not go to crowded sessions.
  4. Open policy for members who want to opt-out of In-person sessions right now if they are hesitant.
  5. We are continuously training and educating ourselves on the best practices of personal hygiene as well as what to do in case there are any symptoms related to COVID-19.
  6. Promoting regular teleworking across our organization and our clients.

Ungender can’t control other things but simple precautions and planning can make a big difference. We are confident that with the right practices, and adequate social distancing, we can help curb the spread of COVID-19.
